Aquesta petita utilitat revisa quan s'obre una finestra i, si coincideix amb el nom que li donem, la maximitza automàticament.

1. instal·la l'eina: Obre la terminal i executa: sudo apt install devilspie2
2. crea la carpeta de configuració: mkdir -p ~/.config/devilspie2
3. crea el fitxer de regla per a Opera: nano ~/.config/devilspie2/opera.lua
4. copia i enganxa aquest codi dins del fitxer:

Per saber el nom de la finestra fem :

El cursor canvia en una creu - pica al Opera i en surt el nom.

Si no funciona pot ser que en el moment que s'executa el script, la finestra encara no està "llesta" per ser maximitzada (un retard típic de les aplicacions Flatpak).

OpenAI nació en San Francisco (California) en diciembre del 2015. Su principal objetivo era crear un sistema de Inteligencia Artificial General (AGI) que pudiera “beneficiar a toda la humanidad”. En la base fue capaz de agrupar a una serie de expertos en este campo, con reconocida experiencia en el oficio. En este grupo estaban Sam Altman, Ilya Sutskever, Greg Brockman, John Schulman, y los inversores-donantes Reid Hoffman, Jessica Livingstone, Peter Thiel y Elon Musk (Tesla). Como el proyecto tenía grandes pretensiones tecnológicas, se comprometieron en obtener mil millones de dólares entre los inversores. Los primeros años se dedicaron a la investigación y lanzaron algunos productos menores. También consiguieron que se incorporara al equipo una de las mentes más distinguidas en el campo del aprendizaje de las máquinas (Wojciech Zaremba). El que pronto los dejó fue Elon Musk, en una combinación de conflicto de intereses y choque de egos.

Una de las singularidades de OpenAI era su estructura empresarial. Se estableció como una sociedad sin ánimo de lucro, pero al cabo de cuatro años creó una subsidiaria orientada al beneficio, pero con otra singularidad (“capped profit”), lo que significaba que el retorno sobre la inversión tenía ciertas limitaciones. Además, la compañía original y su consejo tenían poderes sobre las actividades de la subsidiaria.

El líder del proyecto fue desde el inicio Sam Altman. Elevado a la categoría de superstar en poco tiempo. Altman nació en una familia judía de clase media, con un padre del sector inmobiliario y una madre dermatóloga. Al poco tiempo asumió la presidencia de la incubadora (Y Combinator), de la que habían surgido unicornios como Airbnb y Dropbox. Estaba obsesionado con las economías de escala y su límite era el mundo global. Ganaba dinero y le faltaba tiempo para invertir en nuevos proyectos. Cuando Donald Trump alcanzó la presidencia del país, Altman se alarmó (no se sabe por qué) y estudió la posibilidad de presentarse a las elecciones para gobernador de California, aunque al final desistió. En el capítulo de la “visión empresarial”, OpenAI declaraba “Nuestra creencia fundamental es que inevitablemente esta tecnología acabará consolidándose, por lo que hemos de ganar la carrera para crearla y controlar su introducción en la sociedad con fines positivos”. Detrás de esta idea estaba su jefe científico (Ilya Sutskever). Pero para todo ello se necesitaba dinero, mucho dinero. Incluso se pensó en una colaboración con el gobierno Federal, como había hecho éste en los proyectos Apollo y Manhattan. El tema no prosperó. La empresa seguía funcionando sin CEO (consejero delegado), hasta que en marzo del 2019 Altman se hizo cargo formalmente del puesto.

La solución financiera vino de Microsoft, que invirtió mil millones de dólares, y con ello dio la señal al mercado de que el proyecto podía ser muy exitoso. Su entrada significó un cambio del modelo organizativo original, expresado por ejemplo en el tipo de remuneración de los empleados. En su paquete de compensación se incluían acciones de la compañía. Era el típico movimiento para aumentar el valor de OpenAI, como habían hecho todas las tecnológicas. Y esta vez sí funcionó. La idea de programas abiertos “para beneficio de toda la humanidad” empezaba a flaquear. La excusa era que también podían ser usados por mentes criminales. Algunos disintieron y abandonaron. Dario Amodei, el investigador jefe de seguridad, se pasó a Anthropic, una compañía rival. Finalmente el propio Estado se interesó por conocer la dimensión del contencioso y reclamó la presencia ante un comité del Senado del director de OpenAI. Sam Altman, con su cara de buen chico, anunció que la Inteligencia Artificial en malas manos podía perjudicar gravemente al conjunto de la sociedad. Todo el mundo aplaudió en un tradicional gesto de cortesía. Y aquí paz y allá gloria.

Entretanto en el patio interior de la empresa ocurrían cosas. Era una lucha tribal que se reflejaba en el Consejo de Administración. Éste estaba formado por seis miembros, tres en función ejecutiva (Altman, Sutskever y Brockman) y tres independientes: Adamk D’Angelo (consejero delegado de Quora), Tasha McCauley (científico de Rand Corp.) y Helen Toner (una experta en AI de la Georgetown University). Los tres independientes desconfiaban de Altman, que a su juicio no era transparente e informaba al Consejo de forma sesgada. Esta desconfianza la compartía también Sutskever. En el fondo había un enfrentamiento entre los “nobles” capitaneados por Sutskever, que querían mantener el espíritu fundacional, y los “ambiciosos”, que estaban deslumbrados ante el éxito económico que se presumía. El 17 de noviembre pasado el propio Sutskever comunicó a Altman que iba a ser despedido y que la empresa lo haría público de forma inmediata. Y así se hizo.

Como se demostró al poco tiempo, el error de cálculo fue mayúsculo. Natya Nadella, el ejecutivo principal de Microsoft, ofreció a Altman y a Brockman la creación de una unidad independiente de AI vinculada a Microsoft, a la que potencialmente se podrían incorporar los principales directivos de OpenAI. Estos ya habían denunciado el despido de Altman y exigían su retorno para seguir permaneciendo en sus puestos. El 20 de noviembre Sutskever cambió su posición: “Me arrepiento profundamente de haber participado en la decisión del consejo”. Altman retomó el puesto y volvió la calma, El mercado se tranquilizó, la marca ganó notoriedad y los altos empleados-accionistas se aseguraron poder ejecutar las opciones sobre acciones que en diciembre les harían millonarios. Se mantiene D’Angelo y se incorporan Bret Taylor (antiguo presidente de Twitter) y el incombustible Larry Summers, antiguo Secretario del Tesoro del gobierno Clinton. También han dejado el Consejo Sam Altman y Greg Brockman, lo que pone ciertos interrogantes sobre el cargo de Altman como Ceo.   With OS-specific tests, AntiSniff exploits the method NT uses to handle packets by sending a packet to the system using an Ethernet address of FF:00:00:00:00:00 and the IP destination address of the system you want to check. When a network card is operating in promiscuous mode in NT, it will respond to the packet that AntiSniff has sent, revealing that a packet sniffer might be active on the system.
