Neriage murals
Joan Panisello's interest in murals started years ago. The year 1998 in specially significant in his sense, because in this year he obtained the shapes, decorations and materials that seemed more adequate to him and he intensified his attention to this important section of his works of art. They are in general stoneware pieces, although there are a few pieces made of heat-resistant material. The decorative motives which he superposes on the bases are made by means of china which has been dyed with metallic oxide and Carbonates. In some other cases he also added 'engalbes', volcanic soils, sand, crystals, etc., to give strength to the tone of the colours, thus giving more liveliness to the sufaces.
