“Trails of Life” Collection
The “Trails of Life” collection contains some forty ceramic pieces that were conceived between the summers of 2014 and 2015 in Romania. Panisello has been attending ART CAMP for 6 years, which is held in the town of Calimanesti.
“I find Romania inspirational”, says Panisello, as the Calimanesti area “lies in a strip of land between the river and the mountains, with lots of trees, country roads and thermal waters…”, he explains. In that context was born “Trails of Life”, a series of ceramic pieces that mean to “pay tribute to life” and also show the vitality emanating from the artist.
The collection is made up of a series of volumes in the shape of waxing, waning, full moons… in addition to several murals exhibited in five different Tortosa locations in September 2016.
Panisello prepared this exhibition simultaneously with the celebration in Barcelona of the 47th Conference and Assembly of the International Ceramics Academy, of which Panisello has been a member since 2013.
