He took his first music studies in Escolania de Montserrat and afterwards he completed them in Barcelona, where he also studied Laws and Philosophy. He has worked in the choral conducting in Catalonia and abroad, and more deeply the vocal culture and the renacentist music.

International instructor of the choir “A Coeur Joie”, he has also worked as a professor of Choral conducting in some courses, national and abroad (Lleida, Palma, Granada, Segovia, Valladolid, Cáceres, Angers, Azé, Forrières, Riva di Garda and Bruixes). He founded the Carmina Choir and he was the director of Corode Tadiotelevisión Española fot two courses.


Since Septeber 1988 until 1998 he was the musical conductor the Orfeó Català, and he still is its artistic director nowadays. He has had the chance to work and to col.laborate with the most prestigious Orquester directors. He has attended as conductor, the most important festivals in Europe (Spain, France, Belguim, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Hongary, Italy, Slovenia and Austria) and in Israel, Mexis, Cuba, Guatemala and California (US).
In Summer 1997 he was the conductor of European Youth Choir in Europa Cantat. Since Septembre 1990 he conducts the Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana, and nonadays he is the conductor of the Week of Religious Music of Cuenca with the Choir of the Community of Madrid.
