The aim of the Municipal Museum of Alcover is to exhibit and diffuse Alcover's history as a shared public heritage, preserve the objects related to it and strengthen people of Alcover's identification to their local history. It is important to enforce that further from the local aspect, the interest that originates from the important collection of palaeontology. It is a general demonstration of the fossil collection, some of which, are unique in the world and some of which have been found during the last few years, preserved and cared for by the MMAL.
