The museum holds a permanent
exhibition in its palaeontology gallery entitled:"The
mountains of Prades 240 million years ago." The
route of the gallery has been designed so that the visitor has the
basic tools to be able to see the gallery contents in a clear and
set out way.
It's a tour where you are
immersed in the earth's history, the geological times and periods.
What is a fossil and how is it formed? The evolution of life on
Planet Earth. A description of the Lagerstätten fossils, and
finally we arrive at the central piece of the whole collection,
the palaeontology site of the fossils found in Alcover - Mont-ral.
