Usaron código y conceptos de ICS
(como Business Objects) para escribir WPS (ICS + WF + WAS).
WPS y Broker son cosas distintas:
WPS es para integrar "Business Processes";
Broker es para integrar aplicaciones.
No es que necesites uno u otro, necesitas los dos.
Aunque, para usuarios de Java / J2EE que no tienen legacy,
les conviene WPS con WESB
(WebSphere ESB, el equivalente a Broker que corre bajo WAS).
Resumiendo, las opciones son:
- Broker + WPS.
Cuando hay que integrar aplicaciones no Java con mensajes no XML,
y cuando se necesita procesar muchos mensajes por segundo.
- WESB + WPS. Cuando el cliente es 100% Java / J2EE / XML
