• La resposta a "uname -a" es :

  No podem instalar-lo sota una LPAR, ja que s'ha d'actualitzar el microcodi de la HMC, i el G3 no ho admet.

• Accedim via putty al 9.131.242.235 -> 9.136.4.35

• El IPL es fa des SPAVMB ->
  Es deix en background amb Ñ CP DISC Si fem logoff, el linux/390 s'atura.

• La configuració del sistema es fa mitjançant el yast.
  Totes les dades de configuració son a /etc/rc.config.
  Excepció : el default gateway (9.131.242.1) l'he posat a mà al fitxer /etc/route.conf

• La monitorització de la CPU la fem amb el top.

• La monitorització de IP es fa amb el tcpdump. Hem de apendre a configura-lo per veure només el trafic de Samba.

Samba

• crear un grup smb, mitjançant yast.
• crear un usuari smbuser amb directori /home/public (yast).
• crear un directori /home/public, amb propietari smbuser:smb i drets 2777 (tothom hi pot escriure i llegir).

   chown smbuser:smb /home/public
   chmod 2777 /home/public
  

• crear un directori per dades que nomes pugui accedit la gent del grup smb

   mkdir /home/samba
   chown smbuser:smb /home/samba
   chmod 2770 /home/samba
  

• posar el meu usuari (sebas) al grup smb.
• configurar Samba (/etc/smb.conf)

• arranc del Samba :
  • crear un script d'arrancada del Samba com a daemon : /root/startsmb

• re-arranc del Samba : /sbin/init.d/smb restart
• trasses del Samba :

  • si anem a /mysamba, veurem que som al S/390, directori /home/sebas, amb drets d'esriure.
