It is a variant of PI-d078.

Hiph'il participle, masculine singular of

1. Verbs פ"נ having a guttural as their last root consonant. Remember: the nun vanishes. Israeli hebrew often uses this pattern as an adjective:

מַגִּיעַ | מגיע ----- m.b.) who reaches, arriving (2Ch 3:11

נָגַע ----- touch (Gen 32:33

מַסִּיעַ | מסיע ----- m.b.) who causes to journey, moving (Ecc 10:9

נָסַע ----- journey (Gen 33:17

2. Verb נוּחַ, to rest:

מַנִּיחַ | מניח ----- (m.b.) who puts, putting (Ecc 5:11
