It is a variant of ptr PI-d025

Hiph'il past, 3rd person singular masculine of three types of verbs having a guttural (not aleph) as their last root consonant:

1. the ע'ו verb לָ)נוּחַ), rest (2Sa 21:10), only when it has, in the hiph'il, the meaning of put and not that of quieten down.

הִנִּיחַ | היניח ----- he) put (Jdg 3:1

לָנוּחַ ----- rest (2Sa 21:10


2. verbs פ'י having a צ as their second root consonant:

הִצִּיעַ | הציע ----- he spread

[ יָצַע] ----- spread


3. verbs פ'נ . Remember: the initial nun vanishes:

הגִּיעַ | הגיע ----- he) reached (Est 9:1

נָגַע ----- touch (Gen 32:33

(וְ)הִדִּיחַ | הדיח ----- he) thrust out (2Sa 15:14
