Hiph'il past, 3rd person singular masculine of three types of verbs:

1. the following ע'ו verbs: זוּל, empty; לוּז, retire; לוּן, complain and סוּת, excite.

הִזִּיל | היזיל ----- he) scorned (cf Isa 48:21

[ זוּל ] ----- empty

הִלִּין | הילין ----- he) recriminated

[ לוּן ] ----- complain


2. verbs פ'י having a צ as their second root consonant:

הִצִּיג | הציג ----- he presented

[ יִצֵּג ] ----- represent

הִצִּיב | הציב ----- he) caused to stand (1Ki 16:34

[ יָצַב ] ----- stand


3. Of verbs פ'נ . Remember: the initial nun vanishes:

הִצִּיב | הציב ----- he) caused to stand (1Ki 16:34

[ יָצַב ] ----- stand
