Hithpa'el, participle —the so called beynonee— masculine singular of verbs having שׁ, ס or שׂ as their 1st root consonant and having, at the time, no guttural nor ר as 2nd --middle-- root consonant and not being, at the time, verbs ל"ה :

מִסְתַּתֵּר ׀ מסתתר ----- who/which hides self (1Sa 23:19

[ סָתַר] ----- hide

מִשְׂתַּכֵּר ׀ משתכר ----- who/which) earns wages (Hag 1:6

שָׂכַר ----- hire (Deu 23:5

מִשְׁתַּלֵּם ׀ משתלם ----- who/which specializes

שָׁלַם ----- be perfect
