Hithpa'el, three forms of verbs that have a ז as their 1st root consonant and having a guttural or ר and having, at the time, no guttural as their last root consonant:

1. perfect, 3rd singular masculine:

הִזְדָּרֵז ׀ הזדרז ----- he/it) hurried, hastened

זֵרֵז ----- hurry, speed up

הִזְדָּהֵם ׀ הזדהם ----- he/it) became infected

זִהֵם ----- infect, pollute


2. Construct infinitive:

(לְ) הִזְדָּרֵז ׀ הזדרז ----- to) hurry, hasten

זֵרֵז ----- hurry, speed up

(לְ) הִזְדָּהֵם ׀ הזדהם ----- to) become infected

זִהֵם ----- infect, pollute


3. Imperative, 2nd person singular masculine:

הִזְדָּרֵז! ׀ הזדרז! ----- (hurry! (you, male

זֵרֵז ----- hurry, speed up
