Hithpa'el, three forms of verbs that have a ז as their 1st root consonant and having no guttural nor ר as their medial and last root consonant:

1. perfect, 3rd singular masculine:

הִזְדַּמֵּן ׀ הזדמן ----- he/it) happened to be, occurred

זִמֵּן ----- invite

הִזְדַּקֵּק ׀ הזדקק ----- he/it) needed, resorted to

זָקַק ----- force, compel

2. Construct infinitive:

(לְ) הִזְדַּמֵּן ׀ הזדמן ----- to) happen to be, occur

זִמֵּן ----- invite

(לְ) הִזְדַּקֵּק ׀ הזדקק ----- to) need, resort to

זָקַק ----- force, compel

3. Imperative, 2nd person singular masculine:

הִזְדַּקֵּף! ׀ הזדקף! ----- (stand upright! (you, male

זָקַף ----- straighten up
