Hithpa'el imperfect, 1st person singular of regular verbs having a ס, a שׁ or a שׂ as their first root consonant and having at the same time no ר as their middle root consonant:

אֶסְתַּמֵּךְ ׀ אסתמך ----- and I) will base myself

סָמַךְ ----- support (Deu 34:9

(וָ) אֶשְתַּמֵּר | אשתמר ----- and I) will keep myself (Psa 18:24

שָׁמַר ----- keep, preserve (1Ki 11:10
