REMARKS:

1. Do not mistake this pattern, in the hasar haniqud, for ptr P-t104 and others very similar.

2. Those ע'ו that have a non-aleph guttural as their last root consonant follow ptr PI-d029.

3. The following ע'ו verbs: זוּל, empty; לוּז, retire; לוּן, complain and סוּת, excite, follow ptr PI-d025.1

4. The verb לוּן fits this pattern where it means, in the hiph'il, defer to next day, not where it means recriminate

Hiph'il past or perfect, 3rd person singular masculine of most verbs ע'ו --that, as we know, include those which are ע'י

הֵבִיא | הביא ----- he) caused to come in (Gen 4:4

בּוֹא ----- come (Gen 39:16

הֵקִים | הקים ----- he) raised, caused to arise (Jos 4:9

קוּם ----- arise, stand (Amo 5:2

הֵשִׁיב | השיב ----- he) caused to return (Mal 2:6

(לָ)שׁוּב ----- return (Exo 4:21
