Do not mistake this pattern for ptr I-t2-093

Hiph'il imperfect, 1st person singular of verbs:

1. Verbs פ'י having a צ as their second root consonant:

אַצִּיב | אציב ----- I will make to stand

[יָצַב] ----- stand

2. The following ע"ו verbs: זוּל, לוּז, נוּחַ, לוּן, סוּת

אַזִּיל | אזיל ----- I will scorn

זוּל ----- empty

אַלִּין | אלין ----- I will recriminate (*)

לוּן ----- complain

(*) Do not mistake this word for a quite similar word that appears in Rut 1:16 and in Psa 55:8.

3. Verbs פ'נ. Remember: initial nun vanishes.

אַפִּיל | אפיל ----- I will make to fall (Jer 3:12

נָפַל ----- fall (Jdg 5:27

אַצִּיל | אציל ----- I) will deliver (Zec 11:6
