· Travel to German Tierheim: Finally 45 dogs have been chosen by the German Tierheim with the hope of found a better life. The realization of this journey gives a second opportunity to dogs that stayed some years to the Protectora Tarragona, unobserved by the eyes of the adopters due to overcrowding, timidity of the dog, etc. Also this journey gives a breathing to the dogs that keep on Protectora Tarragona, since they have more space and quarrels are avoided like this for overpopulation of the cages.
In order to favor the adoption, the dogs have been sent to several Tierheim, where each one has decided how many dogs can give in adoption. Like this each Tierheim has received of of one until ten dogs.
Each dog has gone with the chip, the identification card of the European union, sanitary booklet and the vaccines on the day. Veterinary tests has also been made for discarding illnesses and assuring that they compile all conditions to carry out the journey.
This journey has been able to be carried out thanks to the help of Mrs. Helga Doerr and of the driver Mr. Wolfgang Pixa , they have been a great help. The dogs have arrived to Germany in good conditions where each has been taken to its new Tierheim. The dogs that are brothers have gone joints to the same protector.
Now that already has pased a time from the journey, we can say that we are very happy. Since on day of today, the senior part of sent dogs have a new home, while here they would still waiting behind a cage.
