Water resource systems are hydric systems that don’t require high hygienic and sanitary quality of the water as it will not be used for human use. These systems are very important in areas where rain falls irregularly, combining periods of drought. Spain is one of such countries. Water shortages involve two problems: on one hand, they mean that water is not always available in large quantities, and on the other hand they imply the rise of water taxes from administrations when their aim is to reduce its usage. So, water is a universal and worthy good, and we cannot stop using and consuming it. In times of crises, as the ones we are now living, water will always be difficult to attain. Also, the rise in population and the standards of living of our present society are related to its shortage too. The installations of water resource systems –either of grey waters or rainfall water- that Instal·lacions JF offer want to provide a solution to the dilemma of the management of energy and resources in our present days, which will undoubtfully turn to more efficient and sustainable technologies. |
