CASTELL BEL ART S.L. was born from the idea of some wine lovers -some of them because they were professionally linked to wines and some because they were wine connaissers- to create a new company in one of the Spanish Denominations of Origin that has always been litlle known but that has one of the greatest potentials with the D.O.'s from Spain. The partners acquired the former ROVIRA cellars in Gandesa, some solid constructions that after some renewals have become some of the best cellars, one can find in the region. Some fine old wines, among those that gave a higher prestige to Rovira, are kept in wooden oak barrels and in bottles in the new cellars, and this year, some new wines have been made that will initiate a long and excellent sery of wines with the seal of CASTELL BEL ART. In 1998 a new wine has been launched in the market, the VI NOVELL CASTELL BEL ART which has a modern presentation nad a label that has been made by the local artist, Valentí Barceló. This will be the first one of a long range to be launched in 1999.

Castell Bel Art S.L. is a company whose partners are well known in the wine world and that decided to create a new cellar and a new brand that will only offer in the future, excellent products, made with the fruit of the vines grown in this splendid region that Terra Alta is, a wine area that is to be called in the new coming years, as one of the best within European vineyards.
