The name of the Producer, founder and Company Director Gilberto Piedras has become a synonym for dedication and vigour. A professional musician since the age of 14, with a mastery of over 20 instruments, his love of both Latin music and folklore lie behind his choice to develop Mexican music for the realisation of his creative projects, while at the same time enriching and extending this field. Combining, with virtuosity, a troupe of excellent musicians and talented dancers he managed to bring the National Company of Mexico into being, based on a concept of creativity, dynamism and innovation. Since 1984 he has led de National Company of Mexico through the different stages of its maturity and artistic development, and nowadays can say, with certainty, that he has taken them to the highest level of competitiveness. This has been archived by his commitment, combined with the perfectly complementary promotional vision of this man who has demonstrated, throughout the world, all that is best in the Mexican people.
