We are a private, independent research group for oceanographic and marine biology and our main field is the western Mediterranean Sea, specially the coasts of Spain.
Maybe you have passed your holidays in Spain at the seaside, maybe you are ecologist in any case the Mediterranean Sea has a lot of very interesting features:
 Did you know that the temperature in the deep starting from about 300 mts. (1000 feet) keeps nearly the same 13 grades Celsius, even at 1000 mts. (3000 feet)?
Did you known that the Mediterranean Sea is the most important center of culture in the World ( Egiptians, Romans, Greeks, Persians etc.) ?
Did you known that all the water in the Mediterranean Sea needs about 80 years for renewing o changing the water?
Did you known that the Mediterranean Sea together with the Caribbean Sea is the main tourist attraction?
Did you known which is the biggest fish of the Mediterranean Sea? The Basking Shark (Cetorhinus maximus). We investigated sereral exemplairs and found in one in his stomach a beauty case (!).
