My name is Juan Carlos Barceló, know on radio as John or Joan,  born in SANT CARLES DE LA RAPITA, TARRAGONA Province in  03 march of 1975.

I'm working in my own enterprise with Cellular mobiles phones shop and electronic's devices..

My first license was issued in October 1990 with the call EC3DAH and 1 year later I got my actual call EA3GHZ.

My father is EA3EVR also HAM from 1980.

I will participate in principal international contests, also doing Dx-peditions or national activities for diferent awards, and I'm very active in all bands in Phone and CW modes.

I love DX and also I spent a lot of hours looking for diferent rare or semirare areas , But I'm interested in all activities as islands, lightshouses, castles, SES (Special Event stations)... I collect all kinds of QSL's and all my QSL collection is save in diferent Albums, sorted by Country and areas or prefixes.

I don't like the e-QSL (electronic QSL's) Only paper and traditional QSL's and I confirm each QSO via bureau or direct, no money required, it's a hobby not a enterprise. Only need money for stations who I'm the QSL manager...

I like to promote and preserve HAM RADIO, doing diferent activities and Expeditions... Also show to others for posible interests in this nice hobby.
