Mare de Deu del Cami Choir

LogotypeThe Verge del Camí mixed choir was founded in 1968, with people belonging to the congregation of Santa María de Cambrils church, thus materializing the great choral tradition existing in this town belonging to the Baix Camp (Tarragona) region. This first period (1968-1984) was conducted by choir master Angel Recasens, and constituted the first steps towards consolidation of the group. Later on the choir was directed by Carme Duran (1984-1987) and Mercedes Lara (1987-1995). At present, the choir has thirty members, and since 1996 is conducted by Nuria Ortoneda.
