The Verge del Camí children’s choir was founded in october of 1994. At present, the choir is formed by 17 girls and boys, aged between 7 and whose ages are between 7 to 14 years old.

To become a member of this choir, no previous musical knowledge and all children who like to sing and enjoy music are welcome.

Rehearsals take place every Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 am in the vaults of the Verge del Camí Chapel. Voice emission is being worked, as well as physiological exercises towards acquiring a good vocal technique.

It is mostly canons and Christmas carols, and above all popular songs, that constitute the present repertory.

The choir has participated in several concerts, such as the traditional Christmas Concert which takes place each year in the Verge del Camí chapel. The children have also sung for old and frail people’s asylums, and collaborated in the dinner for the NGO “United Hands”, which is a yearly feature in our town.

The present choir master is Ms. Belén Juncosa Espallargas.
