REGLAMENT
LIMIT OF ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS, by order of inscription.

1 - The course takes place from the 22th till 29th of July 2005 in Tarragona, Spain.
2 - The course is open to all levels.
3 - Inscription closes at July 01, 2005.
Fee : 135 Euros.
4 - Subjects: instrumental tuition / chamber music / preparation for competitions and concerts.
5 - Participants will receive a diploma of participation at the end of the course (min. 80% present).
6 - The organisation reserves the right to adopt any necessary changes.
7 - Free inscription at the Competition for active participants of the Summer Course.

Iwan Roth
Iwan Roth studied with the famous Marcel Mule at the Conservatoire National de Musique in Paris (France), obtaining the 1st Price for saxophone and in the same year the 1st Price of chamber music with the teacher Fernand Oubradous.
He played with orchestras like the Philharmonic of Berlin, Philharmonic of Wien, Orchestra of the Bayrische Rundfunk. The number of recordings extends to 14 LP and CD, besides the innumerable recordings for radio and tv in different countries.
Iwan Roth was the founder of the saxophone-class of the Musik Akademie der Stadt Basel (Switzerland). He has been teacher at the Conservatorium of Utrecht (The Netherlands) and invited teacher at the Conservatoire National de Musique in Paris (France) and Indiana University in Bloomington (USA). He directed master classes and summer courses at various universities and conservatoria in USA, Europe and Japan.
He has been jury member of International Saxophone Competitions.
Many composers (like Luciano Berio, Paul Creston, Boris Mersson, Jacques Wildberger) dedicated their works to Iwan Roth, oeuvres for saxophone solo, with piano or orchestra and for chamber music.
