Antonio Carlos Farias (36 years old) started working with bicycles, and he became Brazil's BMX champion in
1985 and 1986. In 1987-1988 he was freestyle bicycle champion. In 1989 he began his participation in
motorcycle freestyle competitions; in this speciality, he has won all the rounds in which he has participated.
In 1990 he traveled to Spain for the first time (to Malaga, a city where he has some of his roots). He has also
lived in other Spanish cities: Mallorca, Barcelona and Tarragona.

In Europe he has worked with a large variety of bikes: KTM 350cc, FANTIC 250cc, MONTESA EVASIÓN, SUZUKI DR 350cc, GILERA FREESTYLE 125cc, YAMAHA YZ 250cc, ALFER 250cc, GAS GAS PAMPERA 250cc, CBR 600cc, TDM 850cc, DUCATI MONSTER, YAMAHA R1, GILERA NORDWEST 600cc, YAMAHA TANDERCAT 600cc., and he has also used a large variety of scooters. He currently uses
a CBR 900.

In his shows, he performs impressive wheelings, burnouts and basically any other imaginable tricks. In order
to do that, he just needs a fenced paved area with a good grip. The minimum lenght of the track is about 70 meters
and 8 meters wide.

His shows usually attract a large number of people of all ages and interest. In the last few years, he has performed
in the following countries: Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, The netherlands, Greece, England
Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Australia. Some of the events in which he has participated are: the Barcelona
Rally Indoor, DRag RAcind in HOckenheim (Germany), SBK (Germany and Spain), Australian GP, Extreme Games
(Tokyo Japan), Ducati Weekend (Italy), Freestyle World Championshp 2000( Montreal, Canada). etc...

In 1998 he won the European Stuntriding Championship. In 1999 he only participated in two of the rounds due to back
surgery; which helped him recover perfectly. In the year 2000, the first World Freestyling Championship has been
organized, and AC Farias has won the first prize.

This year 2000 he has been sponsored by: Motostion, Motopark, Unidad Metrica, Indian Tarifa, Metzeller, Silmar, Roof,
Joe Bar, Abus, Cap Problema, Rocco, Pneumatics Sabadell and Gas Gas.

Besides his jobs with the bikes, AC practices other sports: In-line skating, windsurf, bicycle, kites, skate board, jet ski,
sailing, horse-riding swimming, etc...

Whenever he is inspired which is often the case, AC also plays the drums and the harmonica.
